Deep red cherry colour with a nose of lifted florals, blue and blackberries, spice and rich plum. The plate is sensual and textural. Initial restrained power unfolds and build to a long and lively length with integrated tannins and savoury French oak.

Deep ruby red. Complex and compelling bouquet full of pomegranate, cherry, vanilla, chocolate and spice. Palate is concentrated and rich with fine grain tannins.

Known as the “wild cousin” of Pinot Noir and can be described as a “gentle giant”, in that the wine is big in colour but on the palate it is gentle and sophisticated with smooth silky tannins.

Blends of 70% merlot & 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruit was harvested at optimum ripeness, shows succulent berry-fruit & blackcurrant flavours with hints of vanilla & spice.
